How RockTine Works

RockTine is designed to help you build long-lasting mineral sites that keep deer (and in many areas, moose) coming back throughout the season.

Instead of a quick attractant that disappears after a few days, RockTine is built for repeat site use when applied and maintained properly.

Why Mineral Sites Work

Deer are naturally drawn to salt and minerals, and once a site becomes established, they often return regularly. A well-maintained site can stay active year-round.

How to Use It (Simple Steps)

1. Pick a good location (travel corridors, edges of cover, near food/water).

2. Create a site on bare ground, soft soil, or a rotting stump/log.

3. Pour RockTine mineral directly onto the site.

4. Maintain it by refreshing as needed depending on rainfall and activity.

Optional: Add a StoneCore Salt Lick

Many hunters add a StoneCore salt lick to help keep the site active longer. As it breaks down over time, it continues feeding salt and minerals into the site.

How Much Do I Need?

2.5 kg bag: Great for 1 site or testing new locations.
7.6L pail: Best for multiple sites or long-term site maintenance.
